THE BEGINNING

Welcome to our first blog (web log diary).p1010150.JPG

As you know, our dream is to emigrate to the increasingly popular & beautiful Australia and we thought it would be nice to capture our journey along the way to share with our friends and family.

We will be booking a one way ticket to Perth and plan to take our time backpacking around Australia incorporating most of the major cities.  By the end of our journey we hope to have made up our minds where we want to settle down to live.  We also hope to hop over to New Zealand to visit Liz’s sister Catherine, funds permitting!

We initially wanted to depart by the end of October 2006 but our permanent visa hasn’t been issued yet so we may unfortunately have to delay our departure date just a little.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our blog & we hope you continue to follow our exciting journey.

Please also post us an email by clicking the ‘comments’ box below.  It will be nice to hear from you.

Love Liz & Lee x

    Hi Liz and Lee
Fab to hear how you are getting on and enjoying Oz lifestyle. I, too, am loving my kiwi experience; just sending you this message from Cat’s house. We’re going on a shopping expedition today – how us girls love to shop!
I’ve met the lovely Rhys a few times – he is so nice. I know you both would like him.

Welly is good; plenty to do. The NZ people are so nice and friendly. I had a wicked time in Rotorua with the Maori culture, hot geysers and hot mud pools. Got sunburnt one day.

Lot of love from Momma xxxxxx
