Our agents e-mailed us on the 19th October to advise that Australia’s Department of Immigration (dimmia) are very behind processing applications for migration. It seems that even the Australian Government are lacking skilled staff! Based on the processing times issued by dimmia, our agents predict we will be waiting another month or so until our visa has been granted. Although it’s a little disappointing that we’ve had to wait beyond our original timescales, we’re trying to stay in good spirits and focus on the brilliant journey ahead of us. We’re still aiming for Christmas 2006 on the beach….(and not mersea!) ER.
